Copplestone Castings has an AMAZING range of 28mm figures that any lover of film noir, Indiana Jones, James Bond or Allan Quartermain will immediately fall in love with. His Robot Hitler is just about my favorite miniature of all time.
Pulp Figures produces one of my favorite lines of pulp era figures. Everything from adventurers and soldiers to mad scientists, evil villains, femme fatales and even savage cannibals! Sculptor Bob Murch has designed some really wonderful 28mm figures at reasonable prices. Fans of The Rocketeer will be thrilled to see the Rocket Men Corps.
Artizan Designs also produces a wide range of pulp era and historical figures including Sky Pirates, Wild West cowboys, World War I troops of various nationalities and the same for World War II.
West Wind Products is a recent discovery for me but the moment I heard their idea I became a big fan. They have a range of WWII figures that they call Secrets of the Third Reich that builds on the Nazi super weapons and Hitlers supposed attempts to build super soldiers e.g. werewolf soldiers. This is great stuff that gets a fan of this kind of pulp-era craziness sweating with excitement. They have everything from walking mech-style vehicles to Russian spider tanks and everything in between. Special Note: My favorite thing about West Wind is their interchangeable head system where you can use different heads on different bodies. Great flexibility.
Victory Force Miniatures has some really wonderful figures in their large range and are well worth checking out. A historical range of figures, they have forayed into the weird and wonderful world of alternate realities especially with their New Wars range of figures.
Graven Images has so many wonderfully crafted miniatures that it was almost impossible to choose which image to use as their feature. Aside from gangsters and World War 2 figures they also offer a range of Cliffhanger models that include Flash Gordon and Ming (see the photo left) as well as a complet range of Ming's guards. They have a fantastic The Shadow model and a variety of Planet of the Apes figures (obviously named something different for legal reasons I am sure). Their Frankenstein model is superb! As is their Nosferatu model. Don't forget to check out their zombie figures too.
Dixon's range of 28mm Gangster figures is nice and they even have Al Capone himself. They also have a very pleasing set of World War II miniatures and a charming range of Yakuza, Japanese gangsters. Their pirate range is great but their pirate sips are STUNNING.
Sloppy Jalopy have released a line of passengers for their vehicle range that works well for the pulp era and gangster settings.
eM-4's range of Dunwich Detectives is a range of 1920's miniatures that is great for the pulp era and perfect for The Call of Cthulhu too.
Mirliton is another range that fits nicely into pulp era, gangster and Call of Cthulu with it's 28mm Nightmares models.
Parroom Station has a range of figures that are more Victorian than pulp era but one can make exceptions for such extraordinary figures. Their figures are inspired by the Martian Invasion from The War of the Worlds. I saw these models in a diorama once and it took me years to track down who made them. Effort well spent.
Call of Cthulhu
RAFM has a delightful range of Call of Cthulhu miniatures that were sculpted by the same Bob Murch of Pulp Figures fame (see above). Cultists, detectives, civilians, and a gloriously deranged array of horrors from the outer dark. There is also a nice selection of adventurers and explorers too.

Historical Adventure & Action
Foundry Miniatures have always had an incredible range of historical figures and their Darkest Africa models are breathtaking.
Pirates
Moonlight Miniatures has some of the most entertaining pirate figures I have seen anywhere. Well worth taking a look (see one of their miniatures left).
Foundry Miniatures also has an outstanding range of pirate figures.
